The first of August brings us back to school at home for Olivia, and Homecoming season for gospel singers! Ha! Olivia started 3rd grade this week, and the boys went back to work after this past weekend of singing. We had a great weekend in West Virginia with our long-time friends, the Myers Family, and their church family at Covenant Baptist in Romney, WV, who were so gracious to have us back. We also got to meet a new church family just over the hill at Kirby Assembly of God in Rio, WV. Such a sweet fellowship and Spirit at both services. Many people were at the altar Sunday morning seeking the Lord. He brought a refreshing to us all I think. We decided to skip the church picnic to get a jump start on our drive home, but we didn’t anticipate how long it would take us to get to a place to eat in the rural part of WV we were in. Our saving grace was a random gas station diner. We were so relieved to find it! It had a pretty good burger too! We have been praying through some decisions on a different vehicle, nothing that we are in a hurry for, but we are just waiting on the Lord.
